For multi-national
firms with offices and manufacturing facilities in Cumbaya:
Workshops for English-speaking executives aimed at enabling
them to communicate with their Ecuadorian management/supervisory
personnel. These workshops can be for groups of up to
10 participants or can be private classes. It is dependent
upon the wishes and time constraints of the executives.
Workshops for Spanish-speaking management and supervisory
personnel so that they can participate in meetings,
discussions and planning sessions as equal partners.
These workshops are best held in small groups of 5 to
10 participants.
It is also possible that some of the Ecuadorian participants,
once they have gained enough fluency in English, will
be considered for promotions and transfers to the United
States, Canada and England or wherever the company has
facilities in English-speaking countries.
The workshops can be held at the corporate offices on
schedules that best coincide with corporate priorities. |

For Ecuadorian
companies that do business with English-speaking
countries:
At the executive level, it is
recommended that private classes be held. If more
feasible, then very small groups are also functional
with a maximum of five participants attending.
At the supervisory level, it is recommended that
only groups be formed with 5 to 10 participants.
These groups allow for discussions and interaction
to take place as time passes.
The classes can take place at corporate offices
at a time that is convenient to the client. |
