BILINGUAL ARTS PRICING
STRUCTURE IS DIFFERENT THAN MOST.
HOW AND WHY? |
| |
|
PRICING PHILOSOPHY
BILINGUAL ARTS has a different
pricing philosophy than most. It is based on
years of experience teaching adults and business people
in other countries. It is entirely focused on YOU, the
participant.
When classes begin, there is an important
unknown factor: What is going to be the student(s)
rate of learning? Some of us have a facility
for learning foreign languages easily. However, for
others, it is a slower process that requires far more
class time. The rate of learning has no relationship
to the intelligence of the student(s). Rather, it has
to do with a myriad of factors such as the stresses
of corporate schedules and priorities that continually
are present in the mind of the class participant.
Therefore, BILINGUAL ARTS pricing
is based on an hourly rate that is in concert with the
realities of the learning process for all of us. If
the student can learn quickly and both he and the teacher
feel that his goals for learning the language have been
reached, then the classes can be suspended.
The length of the course is based
upon the student(s) and his personal pace for learning
a foreign language.
BILINGUAL ARTS will teach the student
as quickly as the student’s rate of absorption
allows.
BILINGUAL ARTS does not rush the
student, nor does it belabor the teaching of a foreign
language for more time than is necessary for the student. |

SCHEDULING:
Classes will be scheduled for
weekdays and evenings up to 8 pm.
The initial scheduling is subject to an individual
student’s priorities or the corporate client’s
priorities and Bilingual Arts’ prior commitments.
Once the schedule is established, it is firm and
can only be changed by the mutual consent of the
client and Bilingual Arts.
However, it is important to note that Bilingual
Arts will remain flexible and will do all within
its power to accommodate the client.
Classes may be scheduled for Saturdays at the
above rates.
LENGTH OF CLASSES/WORKSHOPS:
Classes may be scheduled
for one to three hours. A 10-minute recess will
be held at the end of each hour for classes that
last from two to three hours.
ABSENCES:
Only one absence at no charge
is permitted. Two or more absences will be charged
to the client as though the student had attended.
Absent participants will receive the printed missed
lessons without instruction.
Bilingual Arts will maintain
an Attendance List for each class. If the corporate
client is paying for the classes, it will be notified
in writing, on a periodic basis, of the attendance
and the absences of participants. For groups,
more than three absences will usually mean the
dismissal of the participant from the classes
since he/she will have missed too much class time.
Whenever possible, Bilingual
Arts should be notified of anticipated absences
with at least 12 hours’ notice prior to
the scheduled class.
*Prices are subject to change
without notice unless Bilingual Arts is under
written contract to the client.
